A price quote will be returned to you quickly. There is no additional fee for a schedule addition.

Yes. We encourage all levels. Sometimes it can be more rewarding to take one or more private lessons to learn things like the grip, simple technology, etiquette and what is in your bag prior to attending an academy but it is certainly not required. During the on-course portion, the instructor may give you special rules to help you keep pace with the other golfers.

Our Director of Instruction Jason Manke, a Class A Member of the PGA of America, leads all academies. In some cases, class sizes require additional instructors. We use other Trappers Turn golf professional staff members, who are educated by the PGA of America, to assist the director. Occasionally, in the case of the largest academies or camps, fellow Wisconsin PGA professionals will assist in instruction. All professionals are trained and certified as Kalahari Golf Academy Instructors leading to a consistent message.

All adults will enjoy a ratio of, or more favorably, one instructor to every four students. Junior ratios are a minimum of one to six.

Yes. We encourage the practice of what you have just covered to provide for the best learning opportunity. Or, in the case of golf prior to a lesson, we enjoy having you come to the session warmed-up. In either scenario, rain checks are not available unless there is inclement weather.

It depends on the day. Trappers Turn's golf professional staff coordinates the play of all academy guests. If more than 18 holes are included in your academy, every effort is made to allow you to play all three nines as evenly as possible.

An indoor agenda has been planned. One of the more popular activities involves Tiger Woods Golf™ on Nintendo® Wii™. A rules discussion is also popular and eye opening! Gift cards will be issued when more than 30% of your instruction time cannot be completed. Every attempt will be made to hold a "complete" session, including adjusting the schedule for multiple day academies.

Every person has positives that can be drawn from. There is no "one swing" that is right for everyone. We will tweak what you have brought and give keys to fix swing issues that will positively influence your ball striking and scoring.

Yes. There is no additional charge to have others stay with you in your room while at Kalahari.

A free shuttle is available for all Kalahari Resort guests to and from Trappers Turn.

Free Titleist rental clubs are available for all Kalahari Resort guests.

Breaks will be taken for periods when food and beverages are a part of the academy. The menu will vary, but all food, beverage and gratuity is included in the academy fees.

Any requests to cancel or reschedule a reservation must be made in writing via email to JManke@KalahariResorts.com and will be effective the date received. Cancellations further than 30-days out will receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations received within 30-days of the start of an academy will result in a 50% refund in cash and 50% on a Trappers Turn gift card.

The difficulty lies not in the ability of the golfer, but in the social settings. When lumping juniors together of a wide age variety, the younger kids often get left out during activities.
