The Practice Facility

Trappers Turn is home to one of the top practice facilities in the state. Our double-ended driving range has 16 bays open to the public from dawn to dusk, with 9 different targets to dial in your distances. Our secluded, private range tee is used by our Professional Staff to teach private lessons and small group clinics.

Golfers have three unique putting options to enjoy. Practice your short game on the flat green near the Lake Course’s #1 tee, or challenge yourself on the more sloped putting green adjacent to the Driving Range. For a different kind of fun, explore our 12-hole putting course, winding across an acre of rolling terrain.

Whether you’re looking for a little friendly competition before your round or a relaxed way to unwind afterward, there’s plenty of fun to be had. Grab a cocktail and hang out as long as you'd like afterwards, as this portion is lit after dark

Take your short game to the next level at our chipping complex, added in 2025, and home to two greens surrounded by every kind of lie a golfer might encounter on the course. Practice from varying cuts of rough, tight fairway lies, and three greenside bunkers to build confidence and fine-tune your touch around the green.

Access to all of these wonderful features are included with every round booked at Trappers Turn. We are also open to the public at a rate of just $20/hour.
